What is Vax-D? First, it stands for Vertebral Axial Decompression. It is non-invasive, a treatment to help those with chronic back pain and leg pain. Using this procedure is a safe and effective alternative without the risks that are associated with surgery, injections, or anesthesia.
Often back pain is treated with drugs, heat, cold, and bed rest. It also has been treated with chiropractic, physical therapy, acupuncture, and injections, to name a few. Patients can also be referred to orthopedists or neurosurgeons when their pain fails to be resolved.
Surgery may disrupt the natural biomechanical functions essential to preserve pain-free spinal mobility (www.vaxd.com) and some patients are not ideal candidates for surgery.
VAX-D is a pain reliever for those with herniated discs, or disc disease, leg pain, and nerve root. Relieving pain this way avoids the use of costly drugs. Its treatment is designed to relieve pressure on structures that may be causing the back pain from herniated discs or degenerative disc disease. Again, it is a safe and effective alternative without the risks of surgery, injections, or anesthesia.
What VAX-D does is that it gently stretches and relaxes the spine and decompresses discs relieving pressure. It can be better than surgery and in most cases, it’s credited to be so. It reduces pressure on the nerves and relieves back pain. Surgery can have complications which can be severe.
Certain conditions prevent the use of VAX-D such fractures, advanced osteoporosis, tumors, pregnancy, cancer, infection, and some conditions or diseases that compromise the structural integrity of the spine and discs.
VAX-D has had favorable results for many up to 80%, but not everyone receives optimal results, says webmd.com. Their advice is to always consult with a healthcare professional.
It can be great non-invasive relief from back or leg pain. It has been in the US since 1995. It has been proven to lower disc pressures by creating a vacuum in the disc. This vacuum gently pulls the disc back into place and also pulls healing nutrients into the disc for recovery (advancedhealthcenter.com).
Keep researching VAX-D and talk to your doctor should you have chronic back or leg pain.
All best, Giulietta
